چکیده
Cosine response is an important characteristic of optical detector for irradiance measurements. The non-ideal cosine a may lead to errors in In this paper, theoretical simulation generated due isotropic point light sources carried out different illumination conditions. Simulation results show that the measurements error detectors become significantly high at edges and corners floor when source placed center roof. Further, it observed are more enclosures having height smaller than dimensions. Even calibrated measure erratic values wider angle incidence. Therefore, great importance especially during current scenarios COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring correct dose Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI).

development of different optical methods for determination of glucose using cadmium telluride quantum dots and silver nanoparticles
a simple, rapid and low-cost scanner spectroscopy method for the glucose determination by utilizing glucose oxidase and cdte/tga quantum dots as chromoionophore has been described. the detection was based on the combination of the glucose enzymatic reaction and the quenching effect of h2o2 on the cdte quantum dots (qds) photoluminescence.in this study glucose was determined by utilizing glucose...
Optical simulation and experimental measurement of gamma ray energy spectrum of plastic scintillators with different sizes
The application of large plastic scintillators is widely increasing in the different areas of industry, medicine and security due to technical and economic advantages. One of the main disadvantages of these detectors is the unknown position of Compton edge at gamma ray spectrum. In this research, GEANT4/GATE code has been used to simulate the gamma ray spectrum for different volumes of large pl...
متن کاملOptical simulation of monolithic scintillator detectors using GATE/GEANT4.
Much research is being conducted on position-sensitive scintillation detectors for medical imaging, particularly for emission tomography. Monte Carlo simulations play an essential role in many of these research activities. As the scintillation process, the transport of scintillation photons through the crystal(s), and the conversion of these photons into electronic signals each have a major inf...
متن کاملTESTING FOR AUTOCORRELATION IN UNEQUALLY REPLICATED FUNCTIONAL MEASUREMENT ERROR MODELS
In the ordinary linear models, regressing the residuals against lagged values has been suggested as an approach to test the hypothesis of zero autocorrelation among residuals. In this paper we extend these results to the both equally and unequally replicated functionally measurement error models. We consider the equally and unequally replicated cases separately, because in the first case the re...
متن کاملMeasuring response errors in censuses and surveys through reinterview data having a different measurement error variance
1. Introduction Reinterviews have been extensively used as a tool for estimating and reducing response errors in censuses and sample surveys. By response error it is meant any error occurring at the data collection stage for a variety of reasons. Errors may be due to the respondent, to the interviewer, or to both. Such errors can never be completely avoided and, therefore, in the practice of ce...
